Description: ours: Environmental education programs must be arranged in advance through the Tippecanoe County Naturalist. The nature center is open to the public Wednesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. Lilly Nature Center in Celery Bog Nature Area is located along the Lindberg Road in West Lafayette. Celery Bog Nature Center contains approximately 185 acres of wetlands, adjacent woods and fields. It provides an excellent field trip destination where many interdisciplinary topics can be studied by groups of all ages.

Description: Clegg Garden overlooks and runs along side the Wildcat Creek offering a naturalistic setting including prairie and oak savanna restorations, with extensive beds of wildflowers, plants native to Indiana, labelled trees, nature trails and bridges. Open year round and offers a different experience each season. Open daily until dusk. The park is meant to preserve and reintroduce the original flora and fauna of the region. No admission charged.

Description: Indiana's newest state park allows to enjoy stepping back in time as they learn about the fascinating history of this area. Woodlands, wetlands and restored prairies lay along the famous Wabash and Tippecanoe Rivers within the park. The goal is to recreate the historic landscape of 1811 when the Shawnee leader Tecumseh and his brother, The Prophet, convinced tribes from all over North America to assemble and resist the ever growing European settlement which was taking their land. A state park like no other as it engages the visitor with both history and recreation. Picnic shelters, camping, hiking / bicycle trails and Intrepretive programs are available.

Description: Wea Creek Orchard is owned and operated by three families who are descended from the pioneers who purchased the farm in 1855. The farm has been owned by our family continuously since that time. We strive to make a visit for your family a happy one, and we promise to make an outing to our farm an experience of learning about farming and reminiscing about farming in times gone by. The property and barn provide a wonderful setting for weddings, bridal/baby showers, graduation parties and special events. The U-pick orchard (with apples, peaches and nectarines) is also a family pleaser when in season. In the fall plan to visit our pumpkin patch guaranteed to satisfy ­ if you can't find a pumpkin you like here, you can't find it anywhere! Plan to spend time at Wea Creek Orchard and let us be the setting for your next upcoming event or just a day in country. This attraction is best to visit in the fall but is open for tours year round. Welcome all ages but great for schools and preschool field trips.

Description: Wolf Park is a nonprofit education and research facility dedicated to the conservation of wolves, which was established in 1972 by Dr. Erich Klinghammer. Along with research and seminars on wolf behavior, Wolf Park provides interpretive programs to groups throughout the year by prearrangement. They also have regular open hours for the general public from May through November, as well as during special events year round and the Howl night program on Saturday evenings year round. The park is home to more than a dozen gray wolves, plus foxes, coyotes and a small herd of bison. Come have a howling good time!
