Arlington Park

This one-acre park was completely renovated in 2005. Arlington Park Features: Multi-age playground, Picnic Shelter, Tennis Court, Basketball Court, Open Green space.

Armstrong Park

This beautifully landscaped park is named in honor of astronaut and Purdue alumnus, Neil Armstrong. Located on the south side of Lafayette, the 30-acre park has quickly become a favorite destination for residents and families. Fishing is permitted on site; all state regulations apply for fishers. Armstrong Trail is convenient to many neighborhoods. This quiet paved path winds around the pond and is a wonderful destination for anyone wanting to add relaxation to their day. Armstrong Park Features: 2/3 mile paved trail, Multi-age playground, 5 lighted tennis courts, Lighted basketball courts, 3 youth baseball fields, Open green space and wildflower areas, Public restroom, Rentable 50-person picnic shelter (near the baseball fields. Armstrong Park is home to Castaway Bay).

CAT Park & Soccer Fields

Just south of the Caterpillar facility is approximately 32 acres of land that was transformed into CAT Park and Soccer Fields. The park includes 8 soccer fields of varying sizes and a restroom/concession building.

Named in honor of former Parks Superintendent Sam Lyboult, this 52-acre park is located north of the Harrison Street Bridge. Lyboult Sports Park is a favorite destination among sporting enthusiasts. Lyboult Sports Park Features: Three lighted softball fields, Basketball Courts, Horseshoe Complex, Sand Volleyball Court, Picnic area, Portions of the Wabash Heritage Trail, Public Restrooms.

McAllister Park

The scenic 350-acre park is located along the banks of the Wabash River. A bike path along North 9th Street connects the city to the park. McCaw Park

Munger Park

A 32-acre park located in the northeast portion of Lafayette. The unique trail is surrounded by open space to toss a frisbee or relax in the sun after walking. The trail curves around the pond. Fishing is permitted; all state regulations apply. Munger Park Features: Pond, 1-mile paved trail, Multi-age playground, Grills, Public restrooms, Open green space and wildflower areas. A 100-seat picnic shelter is available for rent.

Murdock Park

Conveniently located in the middle of the city, Murdock Park occupies 39 acres of urban forest. The park features a 0.9-mile interpretive trail that allows visitors to identify the nearly 40 varieties of trees located within the park. The sled run is a favorite wintertime attraction in Lafayette, entertaining kids and parents alike. A snow machine ensures that the perfect amount of white powder is available when cold temperatures prevail. Murdock Park Features: Playgrounds, Disc Golf Course, Sled Run, Basketball Court, Lighted Softball Field, 0.9 mile Interpretive Trail, Picnic Areas, Grills and 2 Picnic Shelters with 50-seats each available for rent.

North Darby Park
